Sony has today revealed that for September, Rockstar's Red Dead Redemption has been added to the PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection.

The PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection is a set of games provided at no charge to PlayStation Plus subscribers for as long as the subscription is current. Games often swap, leaving the service for others, but if a subscriber downloaded that game when available, they can come back and download that game by visiting one's download history.

As an extra incentive, Sony is offering a 25% discount for a year's subscription to PlayStation Plus. It is now priced at AUD$52.45.

Cloud Storage, a PlayStation Plus-exclusive feature, will also soon also upgrade to 1GB.
