Ubisoft announces a central platform for their PC titles, replacing game launchers.

Ubisoft today launched Uplay PC, a digital distribution platform by the company and to kick it off, the company is offering titles at prices as low at $1.

The new service is set to replace individual game launchers for individual Ubisoft PC titles, and instead is now a central application where games are launched from.

Ubisoft is offering the following titles at $1 for the next four days: Driver: San Francisco, From Dust, Silent Hunter 5 and Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. 2. That's one game for the next four days. Other titles ilk some titles from the Assassin's Creed series, Anno 2070, Splinter Cell Conviction, and more are also available at discounted prices.

Stephanie Perotti, Worldwide Director for Online Games at Ubisoft said: "Uplay PC is a great way for customers to discover Ubisoft's games, connect with their friends and gaming communities, and win achievements and content that's not available anywhere else. For PC gamers that are already fans of Ubisoft's titles or have been considering trying some of our classics, this promotion is a great deal, and our way of saying thank you for their support."

Those interested can go to the UbiShop for more details and to purchase any titles.
