Microsoft have announced that the Xbox 360′s dashboard will get an overhaul for the second time on Monday when the major Xbox Live Fall 2010 update is released.
The mandatory update will “enhance the interface, navigation, and responsiveness” of the Xbox 360 Microsoft said, as well as adding new features. The biggest of those new features is the inclusion of Kinect support for when the motion camera is released later in the month. Among the other features include the addition of Zune Music and ESPN programming to the dashboard. The graphical interface itself will receive an update along with revamps to Avatars and added search capabilities to Netflix.
Microsoft expects the update to take five to ten minutes to install. Those who decline the update will be unable to sign into Xbox Live.
